Among the company's strategic assets and fastest-developing fields, pipes for plant engineering and mechanical pipes have greatly developed in recent years, thanks to the close cooperation with many companies in the sector.
Mechanical pipes are widely employed in the mechanical engineering sector, including precision engineering, and also used in the plant engineering sector and the drilling and piling sector, as well as the large construction and lifting machinery sector.
Mechanics comply with the following production standards: EN 10297-1 UNI 7729 – DIN 17121 – DIN 1629, in quality and grade S355JOH – S355J2H – S420NH – S460NH – ST 52.3 – E355 – E355+N – E470 – 34CrMo4 Q+T – 42CrMo4 Q+T.
Our company specialises in the supply of the most specialised pipes for the water, petrochemical and oil & gas sectors. Gas installation pipes are manufactured according to EN10255, and boilers according to EN10216-1/2 – En10217, available welded or seamless (SS). The entire Astm/Asme/Api 5L range is available in both welded and seamless (SS) versions made to American standards for the petrochemical and marine industries. The range of pipes we offer includes coated pipes, such as the En10255 gas pipe, galvanized smooth or with screw and sleeve, the fire-protection pipe painted in Ral 3000 colour (or in other colours, according to customer requirements in the EN10255 or Astm/Asme/Api 5L versions) and the triple-layer PE coated pipe according to UNI 9099, DIN 30670 or bituminous sheathing UNI ISO 5256, with possible internal epoxy resin coatings according to EN 10339, the former for the gas sector and the latter for drinking water lines.
Along with the above-mentioned range of pipes, we supply all the necessary fittings for the related installation, welded or SS for gas and Astm/Asme pipes. All the materials we handle are of EU production or also imported from outside the EU, Asia and India, with 3.1B certification and RINA, LLOYD’S REGISTER, BUREAU VERITAS testability.
For the Industrial, Naval plumbing and Heating sectors, we can also supply all products from Rubinetterie Bresciane – Bonomi Group, such as high-quality pipes (pressfittings), valves, fittings and actuators, entirely made in Italy.
All these products are sold in any quantity required by the customer with delivery of the material throughout Italy (including islands) and abroad (also for medium or small quantities). As additional service, we also offer cutting to size of the material or other surface treatments.
SUBCATEGORIES
Both galvanized and raw pipes for the passage of water and gas according to the reference standard UNI EN 10255 are available upon request, for diameters from ½” to 4″, in the thicknesses of the light, medium and heavy series, both welded and seamless, smooth and threaded.
Along with the above-mentioned available diameters and width, we also offer pipes according to the reference standard EN 10216 (seamless) e 10217 (welded).

We supply welded or seamless carbon steel pipes, conforming to the design rules of the European standard UNI EN 10255 – API 5L for fire protection networks and civil and industrial installations, painted in the different colours required by the customer.

We supply both welded and seamless pipes for oil & gas petrochemical plants conforming to American API 5L/ASTM/ASME standards, complying to the dimensions, schedule (thickness) and tolerances of the standard.
These pipes are used in mechanical applications and in machine tool construction and are made of carbon steel. They have a low carbon content and, in order to achieve a high yield strength and excellent weldability, some amounts of manganese and silicon are also added to its composition. We supply this product in accordance with EN 10297-1 UNI 7729 – DIN 17121 – DIN 1629, predominantly in S355J2H grade and quality, also cut to size upon request.
Triple-layer PE-coated pipes are widely used in aqueducts, oil and gas pipelines and gas distribution networks. This product guarantees excellent corrosion protection, a long service life and extremely high resistance to temperatures from -20° to +80° C.
They are primarily used for underground pipelines such as sewers, hydroelectric plants and methane pipelines.
Fittings are used to connect pipes and create all kinds of bends, reductions, connections and deviations in any system, making it unique, like a tailor-made product of high craftsmanship. Fratubi supplies all types of fittings and flanges in the various qualities and thicknesses available on the market. Upon request, we can create customized or curved flanges.
